Planning your wedding day can take many months of preparation. What seems like the most spontaneous successful wedding on the surface is actually the result of careful planning.
Weddings receptions are our specialty. We are here to help you ease some of your stress by providing more than just music entertainment. Our team will organize every detail with your venue, photographer, and videographer. All formalities such as the cake cutting, toast, bouquet toss, first dance etc. are announced so that everyone can be a part of your reception and not just a guest.
Your reception begins when the first guest arrives. While we anticipate the arrival of the wedding party, we will make simple announcements such as welcoming your guests, informing them about facility locations, and cocktail/dinner plans. During that time your DJ will play soft music – it’s your choice.
Once the wedding party arrives we will introduce the Grand Entrance. Depending on how your reception has been planned the other formalities such as the First Dance, Parent’s Dance, Cake Cutting, etc are soon to follow.
Throughout the reception we can interact with your guests by teaching dances or performing games such as the Money Dance, Circle ofLove, The World’s Greatest Band, and more! If you don’t want the extra activities then that is no problem when using our services… Once again – it’s your choice.

Music is a important part of any reception and we are here to please. At every event we bring of over 100,000 songs. You can choose anything from the 1920′s and up. Our music genres include (but are not limited to) Oldies, Classic Rock, Disco, Funk, Old School, Retro, Top 40, Dance, Alternative, Country, Rock, Rap, R&B, and all the fun music!!! Your DJ if you like we also take requests from your guests,
We will not play any songs containing explicit or degrading lyrics.

We offer several packages ranging from elegant to extravagant. This can be something as simple as a Mirror Ball and Bubble’s to a huge setup which contains Intelligent lighting, Gobo’s, Lasers, Fog, Strobes as those seen in award shows and music videos.
1st Choice DJs is also available to perform the music for your ceremony. We have numerous selections of traditional wedding music to choose from. Since most people aren’t aware of specific songs by artists such as Bach or beethoven, we will mail you a sampler CD which contains all of the popular songs used during ceremonies. This CD contains about a 45 second snippet of each song to help you in making your decision. We will bring our own sound system if there is not one available for use.
Most wedding receptions are held on Saturdays which limits our availability. We tend to book most dates 4-12 months in advance so call today! To reserve your date, 1st Choice Djs requires a signed contract along with a retainer fee to guarantee the date.
